TGI Friday's was founded in 1965 in New York City and they started going nationwide in 1972 after the third restaurant opened in Dallas, TX and sales were off of the charts. They knew then that they had a winner. There are currently over 800 TGI Friday's restaurants and there are known for their red and white canopies as well as a fun atmosphere and good food. They offer what they call a right portion...right price menu. Serving American fare and alcoholic drinks.
